Our VPR refinery is capable of processing a flexible blend of crude oil and condensate to produce naphtha, jet fuel, gas oil and residuals.
Acquired by Vitol Refining Group BV, a wholly owned Vitol subsidiary, in July 2017, the facility was previously owned by Koch HC Partnership BV and has expanded its refining capacity by more than 20 percent since it was built in 1993.
About us
Originally constructed as a simple condensate splitter in December 1993, expansion and optimisation over the last two decades, including the addition of a naphtha splitting unit in 2008, has seen refining capacity increase from 65 kbpd to 120 kbpd.
Located at the heart of Rotterdam’s oil and petchem industry, near the village of Rozenburg in the Netherlands, the splitter is strategically located to service customers across the region.
