Swiss energy trader Vitol S.A is pleased to announce the successful signing of its core USD5,300,000,000 European corporate revolving credit facility (the “Facility”). The Facility initially launched at USD4,000,000,000 and as a result of strong demand from existing and new lenders, closed significantly oversubscribed, at around USD5,500,000,000.

The Facility was arranged by ABN Amro Bank N.V., BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (“Crédit Agricole CIB”), Commerzbank AG, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank AG, DBS Ltd London Branch, ING Bank N.V (“ING”), J.P. Morgan plc, Lloyds TSB Bank plc, Mizuho, Rabobank, The Royal Bank of Scotland plc (“RBS”), Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking (“SGCIB”), Standard Chartered Bank and Unicredit AG (together the “Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners”).

BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole CIB, ING, RBS and SGCIB were Active Bookrunners.
A further 36 banks joined the Facility in the retail syndication phase in addition to the 16 Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners.

The Facility comprises a 364 day revolving credit facility with a one year extension option and a 3 year revolving credit facility with a one year extension option.
