Vita Gas (Pty) Ltd, established in March 2017, is an importer and distributor of LPG in large economical parcels to licensed importers and wholesalers across South Africa and from neighbouring countries. We have developed long-term relationships across the region, sustainably growing our customer base with around 150,000 Mt LPG supplied on a yearly basis from South Africa.
Our operations
Our relationship with Vitol helps us provide our customers with a reliable, competitively priced supply line of product. We have access to a global network of energy infrastructure including storage facilities across five continents.
Vitol launched its LPG operations in 1977 and today trades over 10 million tonnes of LPG annually. Vita Gas benefits both from this expertise as well as access to a large fleet of dedicated LPG tankers and proprietary LPG infrastructure.
Our product
We offer our customers products including; SANS Spec LPG stenched or unstenched, butane or propane on special order. Our LPG can be adopted and used for;
- Autogas (petrol cars that can be switched to gas)
- Fuel switching (coal to IP and HFO to LPG)
- Propane or LPG for small scale power generation of up to 300MW
- Butane for propellants
