Vitol confirms commitment to C&N ethanol marketing

Further to the announcement of its proposed acquisition of Noble Americas Corporation, Vitol has confirmed that it intends to preserve the C&N marketing brand and develop the business further1.

Curtis Knobbe, co-head biofuels, Vitol Inc said:  “C&N is a well-known and highly respected brand.  We are delighted it will be a part of Vitol’s market leading ethanol business.  As one of the world’s largest blenders of gasoline globally, we intend to add value to C&N’s customers by providing them with greater market insight and access to a wider range of marketing opportunities, both domestically and overseas.”

As the world’s largest independent trader of energy, in 2016, Vitol traded over one million barrels of gasoline every day.
