VGMobility

VG Mobility is a Vitol subsidiary offering turnkey electrification solutions for fleets.

VGMobility is a subsidiary of Vitol focused on providing e-mobility solutions across the Americas with proven experience in large-scale projects. Established in 2020, the company provides turnkey electrification solutions for fleets of any size including electric fleet provision, charging infrastructure, depot design/construction and asset management.

The company has a growing portfolio of projects across Latin America, including the provision of 446 e-buses and managing the planning, implementation and delivery of a new state-of-the-art e-bus depot in Bogotá. The VGMobility Perdomo depot was completed in August 2022 and hosts 195 e-buses. In addition to transit projects, VGMobility aims to develop e-mobility solutions within the corporate and car hailing transport sectors.

A new depot in Antofogasta, Chile was opened in December 2023 with its partner Copec Voltex, with a further 40 e-buses. This brings the total number of e-buses in the VGMobility fleet to almost 500.

Partnering with municipal transport provider Transmileno, VG Mobility’s end-to-end energy solution provides a smoother, quieter passenger experience and removes up to 30,000 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere.
