It is with great sadness that Vitol today announces the death of its Chairman and former CEO, Ian Taylor, from pneumonia, following a long battle with illness. He was 64 years old. We will miss him deeply.
Russell Hardy, CEO, Vitol said; “Ian was an exceptional man. He combined energy and a determination to succeed with humility, humour and humanity. He challenged all of us to be the best we could be. We owe him a great deal.”
