Ventspils enjoys a strategic and unique location in the Baltic, and also benefits from a pipeline connection direct into Russia. The terminal combines both capacity and flexibility, handling crude oil and clean products across the barrel, and excellent flexibility for blending. Despite winter temperatures that can drop to -25˚ C, Ventspils is an ice-free location. Considerable investment is advancing the facility towards being a state-of-the-art asset. VTTI jointly owns the terminal with a major local partner.
