Vitol is focused on the highest standards of safety and to minimise where possible the impact of our operations on the environment.
This includes exercising great care in the way that we handle physical oil cargoes and chartering appropriate vessels from professional and experienced shipping companies.
We use the services of independent inspectors to ensure that our products meet the required specifications. Also we use high quality terminal facilities, with the key ones regularly inspected by our own superintendents. Finally, we ensure that all our oil movements are covered by first class insurance.
